Who We Are
About Us
You're not looking for just any financial advisor. You're looking for someone who will actually listen, who puts your interests first without reservation, and who will be there for the long haul. That's exactly what we set out to build when we opened our doors in 2008, and it's what drives everything we do today.
Our Beginning
Bill Prentice founded our firm in 2008—right in the middle of the financial crisis, when nearly 2 million small businesses across the country were closing their doors. It wasn't the easiest time to start something new, but that moment made our purpose crystal clear: people needed advisors they could truly be confident in, free from the conflicts and proprietary pressures that had contributed to the crisis.
We built this firm to be independent from day one. No parent company or proprietary products dictating recommendations - just a straightforward commitment to your best interests. We embraced the "fiduciary rule" nearly a decade before it became law in 2016, because we believed then, and still believe, that is is simply the right way to serve you.
What started as a team of two managing $25 million has grown into 13 dedicated professionals across three affiliate offices, now managing over $600 million. But the growth we're most proud of? The relationships that have grown deeper over time.
A Commitment to Growth
The financial world doesn't stand still, and neither do we. We embrace a mindset of continuous learning—seeking new knowledge, refining our skills, and deepening our perspectives so we can serve you better. We support each other in this growth and celebrate progress as much as final achievement. When the rules change, the markets shift, or new opportunities emerge, you want advisors who are paying attention and evolving alongside you.
Relationships Built to Last
Here's the number that means the most to us: a 99% client retention rate. That's not because we're perfect—we're not. It's because when you work with us, you become part of a team that genuinely cares about your success. You're not a portfolio number. You're not a quarterly target. You're someone whose goals matter to us, whose questions deserve real answers, and whose confidence we work to earn every single day.
We've been doing this long enough to know that financial planning isn't really about spreadsheets and projections. It's about the life you want to live, the people you want to protect, and the legacy you hope to leave. Everything we do starts there—with you, your priorities, and your vision for the future.
We Love What We Do
It's not about your statements,
it's about your story.
Locally Invested. Nationally Connected.
"From Our Neighborhood to Yours." We're proud to serve our community with deep roots and personal relationships, while offering the reach, resources and proficiency to support clients across the country.

Why Us?
A Steady Hand in
an Ever Changing World
Navigating uncertainty with clarity ,consistence and a commitment to your long-term financial independence.
Why Work With Us
What to Look for in a financial planner
Alexandria Hubbard
Client Service Administrator, Notary Public
I serve as a point of contact for client inquiries, coordinate account paperwork and documentation, schedule and prepare for client meetings, and ensure follow-up items are completed. My role is to make sure you receive the best possible customer service throughout your relationship with our firm.
Why I Do This
I was ready to learn something new that could help me grow personally, not just professionally. The world of financial planning impacts my life at work and outside of it, and I wanted to challenge myself with something that could benefit me on both levels. What I've realized is that being an assistant in the financial planning space doesn't just inform the work I do every day—it also gives me tools I can apply in my own life.
What motivates me is knowing our team's work helps clients feel confident and cared for. What excites me is building strong relationships and being part of a team that helps people pursue their goals, no matter how big or small they may be.
What I Bring to the Table
I bring interpersonal skills and experience from my prior position as a recruiter at AP Professionals, where I matched and placed qualified candidates in finance, accounting, and human resources. I also have a background in managing payroll operations for contract employees, so I understand the importance of accuracy and attention to detail.
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from St. John Fisher University and grew up in the Seneca Falls area—a small town where everyone knows one another and community truly means something.
What I Love About This Work
I aim to provide you with a sense of confidence from knowing we strive to look out for you at every step. You can feel confident that your best interests are always our priority.
What I find most interesting is that clients know they can come to us for anything they're dealing with in their lives. We're often one of the first or second calls when they're making important decisions. That level of confidence is something we never take for granted.
The Personal Side
I'm just coming up on my first wedding anniversary with my husband, Tyler. We got married in the fall of 2024 and currently live in Rochester. Together we're the proud parents of three cats—Delilah, Lily, and Holly—who mean the world to us.
Family is incredibly important to me, and the love and support I receive from mine is a constant source of encouragement in both my personal life and career. I'm forever grateful for the role they play in helping me grow and stay grounded.
I love spending time with family and friends, and I'm always doing something that keeps me on my toes. I'm also a huge fan of Orange Theory fitness classes and snuggling up with a good book.
Amanda Rodriguez
Senior Director of Trading & Operations, Knightbridge Capital
I oversee the operations side of our firm—managing our Client Service Associate team, handling HR functions, trading, billing, and serving on the Leadership team. While I don't work directly with clients, I have a significant presence in the back-end functionality that makes everything run smoothly. What we create behind the scenes helps us deliver seamless service to you.
Why I Do This
Investing has been part of my life since childhood. I had my own investment account as a teenager, so this industry has always felt natural to me. But what really drives me now isn't the markets—it's fostering growth within our firm.
When everyone on our team is operating at their best, that energy radiates outward to our clients. My job is to help our employees grow and reach their full potential, because I know that their success directly impacts your experience. A well-supported, well-trained team provides better service, clearer communication, and more reliable execution. That's what I'm here to build.
What I Bring to the Table
I've been in this industry for 20 years and bring depth of experience from my prior role as Advisory Services Supervisor at Cadaret, Grant & Co., Inc. I provide oversight and support for investment operations—including compliance, execution, review, and collaboration with our portfolio management teams.
I hold Series 7 and Series 24 licenses through LPL Financial and earned my B.S. in Business Administration from SUNY Oswego. My focus is on creating systems and processes that allow our advisors to spend more time with you and less time tangled in administrative complexity.
The Personal Side
I'm originally from Pulaski, New York—a small town that was a great place to grow up. I was lucky enough to get some big city experience, too. My mom was from Chicago, and every summer the five of us would pile in the car for the 12-hour drive to visit family. That mix of small-town roots and big-city exposure shaped how I see the world.
I now live in Minoa, New York, with my husband Erison (we've been married since 2011), our sons Grayson and Hayden, and our two Boston Terriers, Sophie and Liberty. I want to model a great work ethic for my kids and show them they can do anything they put their minds to.
When I'm not working, I'm spending time with my husband and boys—traveling, fishing, supporting the kids at their sports, and watching the Bills.
Andy Schuler, CFP®
Wealth Management Advisor
My primary responsibility is to build and deepen client relationships by delivering thoughtful, comprehensive financial advice across investments, tax strategy, retirement, estate planning, and risk management. I proactively guide clients through important decisions, provide ongoing plan updates and portfolio oversight, and collaborate with centers of influence and my team to deliver a high-quality, seamless client experience while supporting the firm’s growth. *
Why I Do This
My background gives me a strong understanding of markets and how to communicate complex investment ideas clearly, helping clients stay disciplined, make confident decisions, and remain focused on their long-term goals. I am motivated by the responsibility that comes with this role. Clients are trusting me with decisions that impact their families, their retirement, and their peace of mind. I’m also driven by continuous improvement, both in how I advise and how I build relationships. What excites me about the business is the opportunity to be proactive and make a real impact. Building lasting relationships, solving complex problems, and growing something meaningful over time is what makes this work energizing for me.
What I Bring to the Table
I have worked in the financial services industry for 10 years and was formerly employed at BNY Mellon, Manning & Napier and most recently at Sage, Rutty & Co. Inc. I graduated from Duquesne University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and hold Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 licenses. In 2024, I became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.
The greatest value I provide is clarity and confidence. I help clients simplify complex financial decisions and connect all aspects of their plan—investments, taxes, cash flow, and long-term goals—so they can move forward with a clear strategy and peace of mind.
The Personal Side
I was drawn to the financial industry because it combines analytical thinking with the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Growing up in a family business shaped my work ethic and instilled strong values around trust, accountability, and long‑term relationships.
I was born and raised in Rochester, and what stands out most to me is how tight‑knit the community is and how much people genuinely look out for one another. That sense of connection reinforced early on how important relationships and community are, and it continues to influence how I approach both life and my work with clients. I’m also actively involved with the Rochester Junior Builder’s Exchange, where I enjoy building strong local relationships and staying connected to the broader business community.
Family is at the center of everything I do. My wife, Lindsey, and our daughter, Lacey, are my greatest priorities and a constant reminder of what truly matters. Being a husband and a dad has deepened my understanding of the goals and responsibilities my clients are working toward and motivates me every day to help families plan, protect, and build for the future. Outside of work, I enjoy anything that gets me outdoors—especially hiking in the Adirondacks—as well as golfing, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. Staying active, enjoying good food, and sharing experiences with the people I care about helps me stay balanced and energized.

Anthony Vaccaro, CFP®, CFA®, Enrolled Agent
Wealth Management Advisor
I help clients with anything and everything that involves a dollar—investment management, financial planning, and client service. If it affects your financial life, it's on my radar.
Why I Do This
I followed in my father's footsteps. I still remember watching CNBC during breakfast when I was nine years old, absorbing the market talk and financial discussions. That early exposure stuck with me, and by the time I graduated from the University of Dayton with a finance degree in 2001, I knew exactly where I was headed.
What keeps me in this profession after more than 20 years? The relationships I build with good people. When you work with me, your well-being becomes my responsibility. That's not just a nice thing to say—it's how I approach every decision, every recommendation, every conversation.
What I Bring to the Table
I've worked in enough different environments to know what matters. I've managed operations for large multi-national firms with branches across Syracuse and Rochester, and I've been a portfolio manager for a local boutique firm. Each experience taught me something valuable about serving clients well.
I specialize in two areas where precision really matters: divorce, financial planning, and tax-sensitive investment management. Divorce brings complicated financial decisions during an emotional time, and I help clients understand their options and protect their futures. On the tax side, I work to ensure your investments are positioned as efficiently as possible—because keeping more of what you earn makes a real difference in reaching your goals.
The Credentials
I've pursued continuous professional development throughout my career because the financial world doesn't stand still. I became a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) charterholder in 2014, an Enrolled Agent with the IRS in 2018, and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 2021. I hold Series 7 and 66 licenses through LPL Financial and am registered in New York and Florida.
The Personal Side
I'm a Rochester native and now live in Ontario, New York, with my wife and our two sons. This community is home, and I'm invested in the people here—professionally and personally.
Connie Ciarico
Marketing & Communications Specialist
I use my creative abilities and fine arts background to design everything our clients see, from brochures and newsletters to social media content and our website, which I built and manage using WordPress. I also manage our annual client events, including our charity golf tournament "Golfing Fore Good," the veterans benefit and client appreciation day at the Rochester Red Wings, and our most popular event, the Fall Fest picnic and tasting.
Why I Do This
I've worked in this industry since 1992, starting at Northwestern Mutual Financial Network right after college. I began in reception and worked my way up to New Business Processor, eventually becoming securities licensed and serving as Compliance Coordinator. I no longer hold industry licenses (they lapsed when I took time off to be a full-time mom), but that foundation gave me deep insight into how this business works.
What I'm most proud of is our caring reputation and family atmosphere. All of our new clients come from referrals from existing clients. We've never paid to advertise and have never bought a book of business. Our 99.8% client retention rate reflects our deep dedication to placing clients' needs first, and they inspire us to be our best.
What I Bring to the Table
Part of my job involves client gratitude, recognizing life events with personally selected gifts for major milestones, such as new babies, first homes, college acceptances, graduations, and marriages. I really enjoy selecting gifts and sending them with congratulatory messages from the team. We love celebrating our clients' wins and supporting them during difficult times as well.
I would never have expected to use my creative skills in this type of role, but I love blending my design ability with telling our firm's story for both internal and external audiences. I've embraced learning and using technology like WordPress, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, and Riverside for podcasting. These tools help me communicate who we are and what we stand for.
The Personal Side
I was born in Florida and lived in Dallas, Texas, until I was nine. Then we moved to Fairport, New York, where I grew up and still live today. My parents traveled quite a bit due to my dad's job at Xerox, and they never expected to love living in Upstate New York. But they did, and they passed along their love of this area and the outdoors to me: camping, hiking, canoeing, gardening, birdwatching, and just everything about being outside and enjoying nature.
My husband Joe works remotely from our home for a company in Colorado. He has a really strong work ethic and inspires me to work hard, but also to enjoy the moment. Our daughter Mary is our pride and joy. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University at Buffalo and is currently earning her master's degree in speech pathology. We have lots of extended family in the area, but Joe and Mary are my two favorite people to spend time with.
I love working on our house: painting, decorating, and rearranging furniture. I love working outside in the garden and getting together with extended family for dinners. And I love taking walks with our dogs Bailey and Jiro (both Shih Tzus) and going on hikes in all the wooded parks we're lucky to live near.
Douglas Greene, CFP®, CLU®
Wealth Management Advisor
Wealth Management Advisor
I help clients prepare financially for retirement and other major life goals. I work primarily with young families, business owners, and people approaching retirement—what we call the "red zone" years when your planning decisions matter most.
Why I Do This
When I started in financial services 24 years ago, I found something that combined that entrepreneurial drive with work I genuinely enjoy: helping people reach their goals.
I've always been strong in math, so working with numbers comes naturally to me. But what keeps me engaged isn't the calculations—it's the people. Meeting with clients year after year and seeing how the work we've done together helped their kids go to college or allowed them to retire with confidence—that's what makes this career meaningful.
What I Bring to the Table
One of my strengths is taking complicated planning strategies and breaking them down into simple, easy-to-understand terms. Financial planning doesn't need to be confusing, and I make it my job to ensure you actually understand what we're doing and why.
What fascinates me is how differently each client views money and planning based on their upbringing and past experiences. Some people are naturally conservative; others are comfortable taking risks. Some grew up with financial security; others saw their parents struggle. Understanding your perspective—where you're coming from—helps me provide better guidance for where you want to go.
The Credentials
I've been doing this for 24 years and hold Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 licenses through LPL Financial. I'm a Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
The Personal Side
I'm from Woburn, Massachusetts, and still live in the Boston area. When I'm not working, you'll find me on the golf course, playing basketball, working out, or watching football.
Kaitlyn McGregor
Client Service Administrator
I serve as a point of contact for clients, helping to coordinate their needs, support their requests, and collaborate with our team to provide seamless service. My role is all about building relationships and solving problems, two things I genuinely love doing.
Why I Do This
What keeps me motivated and excited is the opportunity to build lasting relationships with our clients. Being able to support them through different stages of their financial journey and seeing the positive impact our work has on their lives is incredibly rewarding. Their trust and appreciation are what truly drive me every day.
What I Bring to the Table
What I enjoy most is the people I work with and the clients we serve. I also really love the problem-solving aspect of this role. Every day presents new challenges that keep me engaged and constantly learning. I value the opportunity for personal and professional growth, which keeps the work both meaningful and motivating.
My approach to work was shaped by my late mother, who held two degrees and completed military training. She instilled in me a strong work ethic from an early age, and that foundation has greatly influenced how I approach my career. My mantra is "Don't let the hard days win," and I bring that resilience to everything I do.
The Personal Side
I'm from New York Mills, New York, a very small town with a tight-knit community where everyone knew each other and people were always willing to lend a hand. It was a warm, supportive environment and a really special way to grow up.
My husband is a dedicated and creative problem solver who continually encourages me to push beyond my comfort zone and embrace new challenges. His support has been a significant driving force behind my professional growth.
I have a deep interest in earth science and space. I originally wanted to be a meteorologist! I'm passionate about learning new life skills and enjoy spending my free time reading, crocheting, and crafting. I also love being outdoors; it's a great way for me to relax and recharge. My favorite travel destination is my family's private property and cabin in Cortland, New York. I'm also a fan of the Eagles and David Bowie, a devoted reader of Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, and I have a few hidden talents: vehicle maintenance and playing piano.
Kerrin Pestke, FPQP™
Insurance & Client Services Coordinator, Notary Public
I provide specialized support for all insurance-related business, client service, scheduling, and new account processes. I work closely with advisor Doug Greene to ensure clients receive the attention and follow-through they deserve.
Why I Do This
I wanted to understand finances better so I could create a sustainable future for my family. That personal motivation led me into this industry eight years ago, and what keeps me here is the relationships I build with clients.
The knowledge I've gained over the years helps me work more efficiently, and I'm always happy to help. What I love most is that clients are willing to share their stories with me, and I'm always happy to listen. Those conversations—learning about people's lives, their concerns, their goals—make the work meaningful.
What I Bring to the Table
I'm the primary contact for all insurance-related business and hold my Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ certification, which I earned in November 2019. I also completed my Wealth Management Specialist designation in February 2021 and became a licensed Notary Public in New York in September 2022.
Before joining the firm, I worked at KeyBank and AT&T Mobility, where I developed strong client service skills. I earned my Associate's degree from Bristol Community College.
The Personal Side
I'm originally from New Bedford, Massachusetts—a town full of boats and comprised of multiple cultures, most notably Portuguese. The work ethic in that community is unlike any other, and I was raised around it. My parents have that same strong work ethic, and they passed it down to me.
I now live in Greece, New York, with my husband David, our children Samantha, Hunter, and Cooper, and our Goldendoodle, Poppy. I work hard for them every day! In my spare time, I love reading, traveling, and planning fun events for our family. I'm an extreme multitasker—at work and at home—and I thrive on activity-packed weekends with my busy family. I was formerly a wedding and party planner, so organizing events is in my blood.
I volunteer at our church in the LakeShore Kids program and serve as co-leader for my daughter's Girl Scout troop. Giving back to our community and being present for my kids' activities matters to me.
Madelyn Miller
CSA Team Lead, Enrolled Agent (or EA)
As team lead and liaison, I ensure client requests are handled with precision and efficiency while fostering a collaborative, energized work environment that brings out the best in everyone. I serve as a key point of contact for leadership, helping bridge strategy and execution with clarity and confidence. I also work closely with our tax preparation team to support clients through what can be a complicated process.
Why I Do This
I was drawn to finance because I saw how often financial education and support are either inaccessible or reserved for the wealthy. The sense of security and empowerment that comes from financial stability shouldn't be a privilege—it should be a possibility for everyone. I wanted to be part of changing that.
When I was in college, I helped all my friends create budget spreadsheets. My nickname was actually "Money Mads" because I was constantly helping people figure out their finances. Seeing the relief on their faces when they had a plan—that's when I knew I wanted to work in this field.
What I Bring to the Table
I bring strong analytical and interpersonal skills from my prior position as a Relationship Banker at ESL Federal Credit Union. I earned dual BA degrees in Economics and Health, Behavior, and Society from the University of Rochester, with a minor in Women's Studies, in May 2022. I recently became an Enrolled Agent in October 2024, which allows me to provide even better support on the tax side of our work.
But here's what really matters: the people I work with are genuinely some of the kindest, caring, and honorable people I've ever met. I love coming to work every day and supporting what we do to help others. I love hearing what our clients are passionate about—their pets, their travels, their careers. Those connections make the work meaningful.
The Personal Side
I grew up in Brighton and loved being a five-minute walk from the library and the town pool. My parents taught me how to budget my allowance—even when it was just five quarters. Those early lessons stuck with me.
My family is incredibly supportive. My husband, Carter, always inspires me to be my best self and encourages me to pursue my goals. My dad is my go-to pep talker, and my mom is always by my side—she even traveled with me to all my tests for my Enrolled Agent designation!
I currently live in Fairport and love art and reading in my free time. I paint, draw, and craft, and I even have my own online art store. I'm a huge fan of mystery and fantasy novels—my favorite is Circe by Madeline Miller (I have a signed copy!). I also enjoy nature walks, yoga, meditation, and watching true crime shows and documentaries.
Shawn Tesoro
Chief Investment Officer, Knightbridge Capital
I oversee investment management, financial oversight, and special projects for the firm. My job is to manage our asset allocation models and equity portfolios as part of a well-defined wealth management strategy—and to make sure we're seeing through the noise that constantly surrounds financial markets.
Why I Do This
Financial markets provide excitement and challenge every single day. You're always learning, always adapting, always needing to stay flexible and willing to pivot when conditions change. That's what drew me to this work three decades ago, and it's what keeps me engaged today. I remember reading the Wall Street Journal from an early age. My uncle worked in finance and became a guiding force throughout my career, helping me understand not just the mechanics of markets but the discipline required to navigate them well.
Here's what I've learned over 30 years: the financial news media loves to sensationalize everything. It's our job to cut through that noise and provide stability and balance for our clients. When everyone else is panicking or getting overly excited, we need to be the steady hand—looking at the data, understanding the context, and making thoughtful decisions.
What I Bring to the Table
I've built my career across multiple facets of the financial industry—investment management, institutional equity research, and asset custody and administration. I've worked at Wachovia Securities and Adams, Harkness & Hill, and most recently spent years as a seasoned analyst on BlackRock's Small to Mid Value Team in Boston.
That breadth of experience gives me perspective. I've seen markets from different angles and understand how institutions think, how individual investors behave, and how to build portfolios that can weather different environments. Now I use all of that to work with our advisors and clients, ensuring their investments align with their broader wealth management goals.
The Personal Side
I'm from Auburn, New York. It was a great place to grow up and gave me a wonderful foundation for who I am today. My wife Amy has been a tremendous source of stability and insight throughout my career. Our children, Daniel and Ellie, are caring and thoughtful people who make me want to be a better man.
We now live in Westborough, Massachusetts, but my Central New York roots run deep. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Finance from John Carroll University in Ohio in 1995, and I've been immersed in financial markets ever since.
Stephie Bleier
Client Service Administrator
I support our clients by managing the administrative and operational details that keep everything running smoothly. My role involves maintaining current knowledge of custodial, compliance, and operational requirements for account setup and maintenance, while collaborating with our client service team to handle the tasks that support our clients' wealth management needs. I'm the person working behind the scenes to make sure every detail is taken care of.
Why I Do This
I'm brand new to the financial industry, but what drew me here is something I've always been passionate about: helping people. The idea of assisting others in pursuing their financial goals is exciting and feels personally rewarding. What really attracted me to this work is the people I get to interact with and the personal connections that can be made along the way. I love hearing clients' stories and being part of their journey.
What I Bring to the Table
Coming from Next Insurance, I understand the importance of precision and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. What I enjoy most about this role is the people. Building relationships and being someone our clients can rely on for support is what makes the work meaningful to me. I'm learning something new every day, and I genuinely love that aspect of being at the beginning of my career in this industry.
The Personal Side
I grew up in Spencerport, New York, in a big family with seven siblings. Growing up in a large household taught me how to collaborate, communicate, and solve problems, skills that serve me well in this role. I attended Marymount Manhattan College and now live in Gates, New York, with my husband Royce and our two children, Ajax and Penelope. My family keeps me grounded and reminds me why building a meaningful career matters.
In my free time, I love listening to podcasts, working on hand-crafts like cross-stitch, and tackling home organizing projects. There's something satisfying about taking a chaotic space and transforming it into something functional and beautiful. Whether it's organizing a closet or supporting a client request, I enjoy the process of making things work better.
William Prentice II AWMA®, CFP®, CIMA®
Managing Partner
I provide strategic direction for our firm and oversee all aspects of our wealth management processes. I'm also our Chief Compliance Officer, which means I'm responsible for ensuring we always put your interests first—not just because it's required, but because it's the foundation of everything we do.
Why I Do This
I originally wanted to be a mutual fund manager until I realized something: fund managers can make a lot of money, but they're disconnected from the people who use their products. I wanted to help people directly—to sit across the table from real families and make a tangible difference in their lives.
Growing up, I watched hard-working people struggle financially, not because they lacked effort, but because they lacked good information. I saw people pour money into depreciating assets instead of building real wealth. I realized that with a little education and some real options, people could change their financial trajectory. That's why I'm in this business, and it's why I founded the Prentice Family Endowed Scholarship Fund at RIT for first-generation college students.
Where I Come From
I grew up in the Skaneateles and Moravia region of the Finger Lakes—small-town Central New York. My high school graduating class had 88 students. My parents didn't have extra money, so I worked wherever I could: farms, grocery stores, restaurants, bowling alleys. If I wanted something, I had to earn it.
My dad spent his life in construction—grueling work—but he never missed my baseball games. He'd show up covered in dirt and exhausted, watch me play, and head back to finish the job. From him, I learned what a real work ethic looks like. My mom was the primary caregiver for my grandmother during her declining health, and I often helped her. From her, I learned empathy and what it means to care for people who are struggling.
How I Think About This Work
I believe education and hard work are the great equalizers. Anyone can change their circumstances if they have the right tools and support.
Here's what I love about what we do: over time, my conversations with clients become less about portfolios and more about their lives. We talk about family dynamics, life transitions, current events—things that matter to them. That's when I know the relationship is working. Done right, this profession provides real confidence and security for families facing real challenges. That impact is what drives me.
The Details
I've been doing this since 1998. I earned my BS in Finance in 1999, became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 2011, earned my Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation in 2013, and my Accredited Wealth Management Advisor℠ in 2010.
When I'm not working, I enjoy golf, sporting clays, boating, history, and woodworking. I've also been involved with the Rochester Institute of Technology for years and love mentoring students whenever I can.
If there's one thing I want you to know about me, it's this: I'm dedicated to this craft and confident in my ability to help you achieve financial security for you and your family.
