William Prentice II, AWMA®, CFP®, CIMA®
Managing Partner




As founder and Managing Partner, William leads our wealth management team at PWM. In addition to overseeing the financial planning and investment management operations, he acts as the chief compliance officer and sets the strategic direction for the firm. Prior to launching PWM in 2008, William worked as Vice President at Westminster Financial for 3 years after spending 6 years at the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.

William graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a finance degree. An active alumnus, he has served in many positions within the Saunders College of Business and the Institute at large.  A strong advocate for the power of personal improvement through education, William established the Prentice Family Endowed Scholarship for first-generation college students at RIT in 2010. This scholarship is intended to perpetually honor his parents, Charles and Judith Prentice for their commitment to his education and to support those in need as they strive to create a better life for their children through personal improvement.

Bill was a competitive youth bowler and owned and operated a pro shop. He enjoys travelling to Williamsburg, Virginia.  His favorite band is Pearl Jam, favorite film is the Shawshank Redemption and favorite book is How the Mighty Fall by Jim Collins.  Bill is known for his unending curiosity and loves the Benjamin Franklin quote: "An investment in knowledge pays the best interest."
Shawn Tesoro
Chief Investment Officer, Knightbridge Capital



Shawn brings significant financial markets experience to PWM from his many years in investment management, institutional equity research and asset custody and administration.  He now looks to further broaden this experience by working with advisers and clients managing asset allocation models and equity/hybrid portfolio baskets as part of a well-defined wealth management strategy.  He earned his  Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from John Carroll University in Ohio and held previous positions at Wachovia Securities and Adams, Harkness & Hill, Inc. Most recently, he was a seasoned analyst on BlackRock's Small to Mid Value Team in Boston.  An Auburn, New York native, he now resides in Westborough, Massachusetts with his family.

Shawn's favorite travel destinations are Southwest Florida and New Mexico.  His favorite band is the Foo Fighters and favorite film is Field of Dreams.  In his younger days, Shawn ran three marathons (a total of 78 miles!)  His favorite quote is "Aspire to inspire before you expire." by Eugene Bell, Jr.
Anthony Vaccaro, CFP®, CFA®, Enrolled Agent, CDFA®

Anthony strives to add value to the client - advisor relationship in four key areas; investment management, client service, tax preparation and financial planning. Anthony began his career in the wealth management industry in 2001 after graduating from the University of Dayton with a degree in finance. He attained a breadth of experience from managing the operations of large multi-national firms with branches in Syracuse and Rochester, to being a portfolio manager for a local boutique firm. He continues to pursue significant professional advancement, attaining his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification in 2022, becoming a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charter holder in 2014, an Enrolled Agent with the IRS in 2018 and a Certified Divorce Financial AnalystTM  in 2020.  He currently holds Series 7 and 66 licenses and is registered in the states of New York and Florida.  A Rochester native, Anthony now resides with his wife and two sons in Ontario, New York.

Tony's favorite band is Phish and his favorite movie is The Last Dragon.  His favorite quote is "no matter where you go, there you are" from the cult classic sci-fi movie, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai. Tony is very good at impressions and he once had a job as the Chuck E. Cheese mascot.
Amanda Rodriguez
Senior Director of Trading & Operations, Knightbridge Capital

Amanda supervises trading and operations management for our firm and brings a depth of resources and years of industry experience, gained from her prior position as Advisory Services Supervisor at Cadaret, Grant & Co., Inc.  Additionally, she provides oversight and support to KbC's investment operations, including compliance, execution, review and collaboration for the portfolio management teams.  Amanda earned her B.S in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Oswego.  She currently resides in Minoa, New York with her family.

Any time of day you see Amanda, she will most likely have a cup of coffee in her hand. Her favorite travel destinations are Nashville and the Dominican Republic and she loves all genres of music from rap to Spanish music.  Amanda's go-to TV shows are The Gilmore Girls and The Big Bang Theory.  Her favorite quote is "Be Yourself, everyone else is already taken." by Oscar Wilde.  
Kerrin Pestke, FPQP™
Client Service Administrator


Kerrin provides highly specialized client support and account  services as part of the administrative team, reinforced  by her Financial Paraplanner Qualified ProfessionalTM certification.  Additionally, she  is a licensed Notary Public in the state of New York. Previously, she was employed at KeyBank and AT&T Mobility.  Kerrin earned her Associates degree from Bristol Community College and is originally from New Bedford, Massachusetts. She currently resides in Greece, NY with her family which includes her husband David, children Samantha, Hunter and Cooper and Goldendoodle Poppy. In her spare time, she loves planning activities for the kids, traveling, and reading.

Kerrin's favorite travel destinations are to the 1000 Islands and New Bedford, Massachusetts, her hometown.  Her favorite quote is Psalms 118:24,  This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Kerrin is an extreme multitasker at work and at home, was formerly a wedding/party planner and thrives on activity packed weekends with her family.
Maddy Davidson
Client Service Administrator

Maddy works in tandem with Kerrin to elevate our administrative team.  She is the initial point of contact when calling or visiting our office and brings significant organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills attained from her prior position at ESL as a Relationship Banker. She holds dual major BA degrees in economics and health, behavior and society, with a minor in women's studies from the University of Rochester.  Maddy was born and raised in Rochester, where she currently resides and she enjoys visiting her cow Jethro, donkeys, chickens and a goat that live on a family farm in Corning.  Her special interests are landscape painting, puzzles and yoga/meditation.

Maddy's nickname in college was "Money Mads" earned from creating budget spreadsheets for all her friends.  Her favorite book is Circe by Madeline Miller (she has a signed copy!)  Her favorite color is pink, she has her own online art store and she loves to watch true crime shows and documentaries. Maddy took classical voice lessons for nearly 5 years and makes amazing breakfast sandwiches.

He graduated from Babson College in Wellesley Massachusetts and was previously a Partner at Commonwealth Financial Group. Here's what you can expect when working with Doug:

Doug is 6'5 and played basketball in college and continues as a children's coach. He is a true New Englander and roots for his favorite local teams; the Patriots, Celtics and Red Sox. In his spare time he also enjoys golf and working out. Doug has an older brother and 2 younger twin sisters and says he is the "forgotten middle child." His favorite destination is the "next one" and his favorite book is The Rain Barrel Effect by Steve Cabral.
Connie Ciarico
Marketing & Communications Specialist

Connie is responsible for the branding and design of our internal and external marketing materials, client communications and social media presence. She also oversees the planning and promotion of client events and manages the content and design of our website, and the website of  Knightbridge Capital, LLC. Prior to joining PWM in 2010, she was employed at Northwestern Mutual Financial Network as a Compliance Coordinator. She received her B.A. in Fine Arts from the State University of New York at Oswego and resides in Fairport, New York with her family.

Connie has been to England, Scotland and the Bahamas and her favorite travel destination is Italy.  She has been a huge fan of Snoopy/Peanuts since childhood.  She loves old school 80's and 90's alternative rock and the last concert she attended was White Reaper with her daughter. Connie can speak French, ice skate and enjoys rooting for the Buffalo Bills.
