Poppy Pestke
Standard Goldendoodle
Poppy is named after the pink troll princess from the movie "Trolls." She is 2 years old and was adopted by the Pestke family from a farm in Dundee. Her favorite thing to do is to get the neighborhood doodles together to play and she loves snuggling, hot dogs and travelling to the 1000 Islands. She once ate a whole plate of raw steak that was being prepped for dinner (uh-oh!) but she is well trained and stays in the yard with no lead. Good girl! She comes into the office occasionally, and loves to romp and play with her BFF Macy.
Macy Vaccaro
Macy is a sweet, gentle, young puppy who brightens the office with Tony almost every day! She is a mix of German Shepherd, Husky and Pomeranian! Her nickname is "Little Sweetie" and she has a penchant for grabbing paper towels off the table and tearing them to shreds for fun! Macy has a super-soft, sleek coat and is known for making the rounds to visit everyone in the office for love and attention.
Sophie &
Liberty Rodriguez
Sophie and Liberty are Boston Terriers, ages 9 and 4 months. They both love whipped cream and come running when they hear the sound of the spray can. Sophie will paw you when she wants a scratch and Liberty will eat everything in sight if you let her. They both like to cuddle on the couch. Naughty? Sophie once ripped up a section of carpet that had to be replaced. Liberty loves it when her family sings the Liberty Mutual jingle to her.
Roxie & Gryff Olsen
Roxie was adopted by the Olsen family from a shelter in Norfolk, Virginia and came with her name. She is a six year old Standard Poodle that loves her squeaky toys and stealing bagels!
Gryff, short for Gryffindor, was named by Tim's daughter, a Harry Potter fan. Gryff was saved from dying of parvovirus when he came to the vet's office weighing only 2 lbs! He is a five year old Terrier/Poodle mix and will fetch small tennis balls for hours. His favorite thing to do is to snuggle in blankets.
Bailey &
Jiro Ciarico
Bailey is a 12 year old Lhasa Apso. She was adopted at age 1 from an older woman who said "she's too much for me." She is like a German Shepherd in a tiny little package who loves to bark (profusely) at the doorbell and any dog, cat or squirrel passing by the house. Her favorite activities are bossing Jiro around, looking out the window and going for long walks. Jiro is a 5 year old Shih-Tzu adopted as a puppy from a breeder in Brockport. His name means "second born son" in Japanese and he was the second boy born in his litter. He is a chunk, who loves to eat anything and everything! His favorite things are his food dispensing ball, snuggling and being carried around like royalty. Walking? Not so much!
Prentice Family Pups
Augie is a 2 year old miniature Schnauzer that was rehomed after a deployed service member in Buffalo could no longer care for him. His original name was Ozzie, which was changed to the phonetically similar Augie. He is a ball of energy and enthusiastically jumps straight up in the air when reunited with Bill! His favorite activities are chasing wildlife and long walks in the country.
Rudy is almost 13 and was adopted from a friend. He is a Shih Tzu and loves to take afternoon lap- naps. He has a voracious appetite for such a tiny little guy and will eat anything that drops on the floor. He also knows the word "treat" and will do almost anything for one! Rudy is super friendly and loves everyone. His funniest activity is spinning around in his bed.
In Memoriam - Teddy, Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Many of you remember Teddy, who passed away in 2020. He was a frequent greeter in the office who loved pizza crusts, fetching his toy football and going for rides. He had such a sweet and loving temperament and would set his head in your lap, making a bad day a better day. We miss you big guy!
